MADE CAFÉ FAQS
- Is car parking available?
Yes MADE has its own free carpark right outside the building. You would use the main Moddershall Oaks entrance, drive down the main drive and you will see the MADE car park on your left.
- Is the MADE café open to non-members?
Yes! The MADE café is open to everyone from 8.00am-8.00pm Monday-Thursday and 8.00am-5.00pm Friday, Saturday & Sunday. We have free Wi-Fi, Sky Sports, healthy snacks & drinks, and a range of food to eat in or take out.
- Are children welcome in the café?
Yes. Moddershall Oaks is adult-friendly but we welcome all ages in the MADE café. We have baby changing facilities and children love our pancakes and mylkshakes!
- Do you only offer healthy vegan food in the café?
Mostly, but not everything. In our café, our philosophy is that food should be fun! We like to be creative with healthy food so that we can show you healthy doesn’t mean boring. We avoid anything artificial as well as refined sugar, and focus on natural, plant-based ingredients. However in order to appeal to everyone, we have options to add eggs, chicken and salmon to our buddha bowls and prepared meals. Feedback on our vegan menu from everyone non-vegan so far has been fantastic, so if you are not sure, all the more reason to come and try it .. check out our MENUS.
MADE CLASSES FAQS
- Do I have to be a member to book a class?
You don’t have to be a member to join us in a class! We offer a PAYG option. Simply download our app ‘Welcome to Made’, create an account and book away! You can pay through the app using PayPal or pay on arrival at our café. Visit our BOOK A CLASS page.
- How much are classes?
We charge £8 for OM which is pilates, meditation and yoga, £6 for sweat classes which is cycle, kettlebell, barbells & £4 for kids and kids classes. You can buy class passes which give you discounts for purchases multiple class credits in one go. 1 OM pass £8, 6 passes £43, 12 passes £81. 1 SWEAT £6, 6 passes £32, 12 passes £61.
- How do I book a class?
Whether you are a PAYG user or full member, the best way to book is via our app ‘Welcome to MADE’ downloadable from the App and Play store. There you can see class descriptions as well as what capacity is left. You can even add yourself to a waiting list if the class is full, and it will automatically notify you if a space becomes available. Simply select your desired class and book! Alternatively, you can always call us on 01782 969 300 to book with a member of the team.
- Can I just drop in for a class without booking?
We have set maximum capacities for all our classes to ensure you get the most from our instructors and every class you attend. Therefore, we strongly recommend you book in advance via our app to avoid disappointment. If you did turn up and a space was available however, we would not turn you away, but it would be better to know for sure you were booked on before making the journey.
- What is the cancellation policy for classes?
There is a 12 hour cancellation policy here at Welcome to MADE if you cannot attend a class you have pre-booked. We require 12 hours so that we can offer spaces to other members who might be on our waiting list!
- What are is the minimum age for class bookings?
Minimum ages to attend our classes here at MADE is 14 years of age. Participants aged 14 and 15 years are welcome to attend all our adult classes but must be accompanied by an adult. Those aged 16 and 17 years are welcome to attend our adult classes unaccompanied.
- Are any of the classes suitable for children?
We are proud to run fitness classes here that are suitable for young kids and adults alike! We think it’s important to give young minds the opportunity to learn new ways to keep fit so we have our Family Bootcamp and Kids Fitness every week on our CLASS TIMETABLE.
- How do I book children onto the kid’s classes?
For our Family Bootcamp, as the adult attending, use the ‘Welcome to MADE’ app to book yourself in and anyone else registered on the app. Children attending must be booked on the class as guests and paid for upon arrival in our café. This can be done by calling 01782 969 300 or talking to our team at the wellness centre. For the Kids Fitness class, please call 01782 969 300 and book all children on as guests and pay on arrival in our café.
- What do I wear for classes? Do I need to bring anything?
We recommend wearing sports specific clothing to ensure your own comfort and to get the most out of your workout. Trainers are essential as footwear, any other footwear in the gym is prohibited for health and safety purposes. Specialist cycling shoes can be worn for all of our indoor cycling classes if you choose. For all of our OM classes (Yoga, Meditation, Pilates) we provide mats, blocks and straps.
- How often do we update class timetables?
We endeavour to keep on top of group fitness trends as well as listen to feedback from our customers and update our timetable as necessary to ensure you are getting the best workouts from our MADE team.
- Are any of the classes unsuitable if I am a beginner?
We believe all classes are suitable for beginners! Feel free to let our friendly MADE coach know before the class starts if you are new or have any injuries we need to know about. From there, we can adjust certain moves to suit your fitness levels! Our 30 minute classes are a great introduction to classes here at MADE.
- Are any classes suitable for pregnancy?
We recommend that you consult with your GP or midwife before embarking on any new forms of physical activity whilst pregnant. Depending on your comfort levels, most of our classes and our instructors can adjust specific moves to make them pregnancy friendly!
- Can I book a class or check in without the app / smart phone technology?
You can certainly book you onto a class if you do not have access to the app/smart phone technology. We strongly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment and this can be done by calling 01782 969 300 or booking at the wellness centre with a member of staff. We would need you to arrive at least 10 minutes before a class however as you will need to be checked into the class manually instead of using the barcode on your phone.
LOCKERS & CHANGING ROOM INFO
- Do you have on site shower / changing facilities?
MADE is a boutique facility and we encourage people to wear their fitness gear to and from the classes and gym. If you need changing facilities we have small but perfectly formed facilities for you to use.
- Do you have lockers for safe storage of belongings?
Yes! We have lockers in the changing rooms for those using the shower facilities after a workout. We encourage most of our guests to use the lockers outside the studios in the corridor. We have medium and large lockers, and plenty of small lockers that are ideal for keys and phones. Please do not take your belongings into the studio or gym.
- How do you operate the lockers?
Choose an open, empty locker and make a note of your locker number. Simply press C, followed by a 4 digit number of your choice, then press the key symbol before turning the lock anticlockwise. The locker will now be secure. Return to your locker after your workout and repeat the C, 4 digit code, key and turn the dial clockwise.
- Do you provide any amenities?
We work with natural skincare and body care brand Elemental Herbology to provide the ultimate in skin nutrition. We provide shampoo, conditioner, hand & body wash and moisturiser in the changing rooms and toilet.
- Do you provide towels?
MADE Wellness members receive a MADE branded sweat towel as part of their membership, view our MEMBERSHIP PACKAGES. We also provide sweat towels in our gym if you forget to bring yours with you. If you are a PAYG class user, you can purchase a customised MADE sweat towel from our shop for just £10 or feel free to bring your own. If you need small or large towels for the changing rooms you can loan one from our team, and the towels must be placed in the laundry bins provided in the changing rooms after use and not taken off site.
- Do you provide hairdryers or straighteners?
You can borrow GHD hairdryer, straighteners or curling tongs from a member of the team for use in our changing rooms, just ask!
- What gym equipment do you have?
We have a selection of cardiovascular equipment – treadmills, cross trainer, bikes, rowing machine and stepper. We have a great resistance area with dumbbells up to 40kg, a smith machine, a selection of kettlebells and barbells. Our functional training area offers new way to train with state of the art HIIT equipment, TRX straps, slam balls, medicine balls and cable machines to name a few.
- Is the gym staffed? Is free help & advise available?
We have a highly qualified gym team available Monday to Sunday who are available for gym inductions, 121 personal training and also teach our fantastic fitness classes. Speak to a member of our MADE team to get booked in with one of us! Once you have registered on the MADE app, we can show you how to communicate with us and ask for advice whenever you need it.
- How do I book a personal training session and what’s included?
It’s easy to book in for a personal training session with one of our talented personal trainers. It’s best to check out our PT profiles in house and online to see which one of our team could give you the most towards your goals as everyone has different strengths within the fitness industry. From there, have an informal chat with our gym team and get booked in on a day/time to suit you. In a 60 minute session, you will chat with your PT about your goals, previous health and fitness habits and what has/hasn’t worked for you in the past. From there, you will do a workout in our gym and be shown new and exciting training techniques to get you closer to reaching those targets.
- Do you offer any measurements or body scanning services?
Yes! Here at Welcome to MADE we offer 3D body scan analysis with Fit3D. Fit3D is the leader in body scanning, body fat measurement and 3D body scanner technology for the fitness industry. In just 40 seconds it will produce a 360 degree avatar with 3D body imaging, over 400 measurements and a visual avatar. The scan results provide accurate measurements to set goals using key measurements including circumferences, lengths, widths and volumes. It also provides full postural analysis understanding the shifts, tilts and rotations in your body, and it will provide a variety of body shape wellness scores.
- How do I get a FIT3D body scan and consultation?
Fit3D body scans are performed at MADE and therefore can be booked via a member of the team on a day/time to suit you. For your very first Fit3D scan please allow 60 minutes which includes the scan, a 30 minute personal training session to set the best workouts for you, and a consultation based on the scan results. Fit3D is included in our Off Peak, On Peak and Wellness and Spa Memberships. Non-members have to pay £30 for a FIT3D scan
- How do I get nutritional advice and a meal plan?
It’s best to book a 60 minute nutrition slot with a trainer of you’re choice. In that hour, you will discuss a variety of nutrition topics including what has/hasn’t worked for you in the past, allergies, dislikes and fitness goals. From there, your trainer can design and issue you a bespoke nutrition plan to get you closer to the results you want.
- Can I use the gym without an induction?
You are welcome to use the gym without an induction but we strongly advise booking one with one of our trainers. Gym equipment is forever changing and advancing and we want you to get the most out of our equipment so to learn it’s full potential, it’s best to have an induction and feel confident using the kit. If you are certain you do not want an induction (free when you become a member) you can use the gym straight away but a PAR-Q must be completed and signed by yourself first.

- Where do I find out details of the MADE membership packages and prices?
- Can I try any of the facilities before I decide to join?
Our current trial offer – ‘A taste of MADE’ will allow customers a 2 week membership which includes everything you would receive in the MADE Wellness Peak Membership package including unlimited gym use and unlimited classes so you can ‘try before you buy’. Terms and conditions apply and the offer is only available to a limited amount of people. If you join at the end of your 2 week taster, you will also receive some goodies. Find out more HERE.
- Can I freeze my membership?
Memberships can be frozen for a maximum period of 3 months in circumstances where there is evidence that the wellness centre facilities cannot be used. We would need to see suitable proof of the medical condition or other evidence before a freeze can be considered. All requests to freeze memberships are granted at the discretion of the director/owner.
- Can I cancel my membership?
Memberships cannot be cancelled before the end of the contractual term unless the due fees are fully paid.
- Can I change the date of my direct debit?
Yes, this can be arranged. Please contact us at email@example.com and give notice of the amended DD date and we can pass the information to our finance team. Notice needs to be given so sometimes it may be too late to change the date of your next DD, and it may come into effect from the following payment onwards.
- Will I be shown how to use the gym equipment?
Yes, we provide a full and thorough induction service. For Wellness and MADE members this will also include a 3D body scan and full health assessment. Our fitness team are then able to put together a training programme and offer nutritional support if required.
- Now I am a member, how do a use the MADE app and booking system?
It’s easy! Download our ‘Welcome To MADE’ app from iOS or android app stores. At the time of joining our team should have sent you an email invitation to activate your account with us. Once you have done this, use your log-in details to log in to the app. Once in the app you can book classes by visiting the Club Schedule page and selecting the appropriate class.
- Can members use the functional studio or indoor cycling cave if they are empty?
The functional studio can be used for members wishing to do their workout in a studio environment. Please just check with a member of the team first, and we can assist with any equipment you may need. The cycling cave however is only to be used for classes and with a member of the fitness team present. If you wanted to use a bike outside of an indoor cycling class, don’t forget we have a brand new IC8 indoor cycling bike in the gym.
- Can I share access to MADE with anyone else? Can I bring a guest?
Here at MADE we are building a close knit community and therefore we will not be issuing regular guest passes. Classes can be booked on a PAYG basis for any friends or family who want to attend a class with a member. Occasionally guest passes can be issued at the discretion of the Business Director/ Business Development Manager for gym use.
- Can I use the MADE gym if I’m a spa day or spa break guest at Moddershall Oaks?
Yes, on arrival please inform reception staff should you wish to use the MADE gym. Access to the gym can then be provided.
- Can I book a class if I’m a spa day or spa break guest at Moddershall Oaks? How?
Yes, classes can be booked in the usual way HERE. However as a spa guest you receive a discount so please call the spa reception on 01782 399000 or speak to reception at the start of your spa experience to arrange the class reservation.
- Can I use the MADE café if I’m a spa day or spa break guest at Moddershall Oaks? How?
Yes, feel free to wander up to the wellness centre if you are visiting Moddershall Oaks for a look around or to relax in our café. You can purchase any number of our retail or grab n go items, or order food and drink to have in the café. Check out our MENUS.
- If I am a MADE Wellness member, can I use the spa facilities at Moddershall Oaks?
No. Unfortunately MADE Wellness members do not get the use of Moddershall Oaks.

- Do you offer student/ NHS/ corporate discounts?
We do not currently offer student or NHS discounts on memberships or classes.
- I wish to raise a complaint – what do I need to do?

- How soon can I train after having a baby?
The advised period would be 12 weeks however everyone is different, so please seek advice from your GP or health visitor before starting training.
